Talk Description: In this talk, Jan will walk us through the creation process of the procedural environments behind his short CGI film Deserted. He will cover how he took advantage of Houdini's HeightFields to create desert plateaus and sand dunes. He will also break down the concept of his Sci-Fi City and Space Ship generators, as well as talk about his experience from a new user's perspective.
