Registration Information

• All entries must be submitted in English.
• Your registration will be valid upon receiving the confirmation letter and official receipt. The confirmation letter and official receipt will be sent to the registered e-mail address, only after full payment on your purchases has been made.
• Early-Bird rates end 14 November 2021, 23:59 hours (GMT +9, Tokyo, Japan Time), thereafter the Regular rates will apply.
  
  Rates in United States Dollar (USD) will be applicable for all persons residing outside of Japan for all pre-registrations online.
  
  Rates in Japanese Yen (JPY) will be applicable for all persons residing within Japan for all pre-registrations online.
• If you have a discount code, kindly be reminded to insert it before completing your payment. The appropriate discount will be reflected before checkout.
• Registration closes on Friday, 17 December 2021, 18:00 hours (GMT +9, Tokyo, Japan Time)
• We encourage all attendees to purchase their tickets through our online registration portal, to reduce the potential crowding at the venue. For attendees who have purchased an in-person ticket (Full Access, Onsite Experience), you will be able to print your badges at the self-registration kiosks onsite.
• On-site access to the Computer Animation Festival – Electronic Theater is available to Full Access, Onsite Student Access and Onsite Experience ticket holders, seats are allocated on first come first serve basis. As seats are limited, we advise for attendees to arrive early before the session.
• If you are purchasing the Onsite Experience ticket, we recommend that you register in advance as seats to the Electronic Theater are limited.
• For students who wish to purchase a ‘Onsite Student Access’ onsite, they may do so at the registration counters from 14 – 17 December 2021, upon presentation of a valid student identification pass. Only credit card (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard and JCB) will be accepted for on-site payments.

Registration Policy

• Please take note that email address must be unique for each user.
• Your registration will be valid only when payment is received in full by the Organizer.
• There are no age-based restrictions to attend the in-person Conference.
  • To attend the conference onsite at Tokyo International Forum, children aged 12 and under, must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times. They will not be required to purchase a registration ticket.
  • Children aged 13 to 17 will be required to register and purchase a registration ticket to attend the conference. They may consider purchasing a ‘Onsite Student Access’ available during the conference and exhibition days, upon presentation of a valid student identification pass.
• Please be aware that parts of the Conference may contain adult content, graphic images, or violence.

  In order to qualify for discounts on Full Access, you must be an ACM, ACM SIGGRAPH member. You must provide your membership number to receive the discount; otherwise, you will be charged the non-member rate. ACM SIGGRAPH member discount does not apply to those who are members of a chapter only.

• The Organizer reserves the right to amend any part of the program without giving prior notice should the need arise.
• The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference or any part thereof without prior notice in the events beyond the control of the Organizer.

Attendee Participation/Recording Policy

• By registering to attend SIGGRAPH Asia 2021, you are granting SIGGRAPH Asia 2021 permission to record your image, voice, comments, and questions during sessions.
• Additionally, it is important to recognize that many of the words, images, sounds, objects, and technologies presented at SIGGRAPH Asia are protected by copyrights or patents. They are owned by the people who created them. Please respect their intellectual property rights by refraining from making recordings from your device or taking screenshots. If you are interested in the content, feel free to reach out to the contributor or visit the ACM Digital Library after the event, where content will be made available.
• SIGGRAPH Asia is an open and accepting environment, whether in-person or online, and we ask that participants operate within our virtual space with dignity and respect for all who have come to learn, grow, and connect.

Data Consent

By clicking on the Book Now button in the registration page, you agree:

• to the use of your personal information provided during the registration to host and manage this event, including the analysis of visitor traffic to improve the event experience. By participating in the event, you consent that your contact details will be shared with attendees, sponsors or exhibitors when accepting a connection/meeting request, upon entering a virtual exhibition booth, or when watching sponsored content. These participants may then engage with you directly for follow-up or marketing purposes.

Registration Amendment & Cancellation Policy

*Applicable only to those registrants residing outside of Japan who are facing travel restrictions into Tokyo for the physical event and to those registrants residing in Japan who have purchased their registration ticket using credit card.

*This does not apply for registrants who purchased the registration ticket via bank transfer.

• Registration Amendment Policy: In the event that attendees residing outside of Japan are facing travel restrictions into Tokyo for the physical event, these attendees will be able to convert their in-person tickets (Full Access, Onsite Experience) to a virtual registration ticket type (Virtual Full Access, Virtual Basic Access, or Virtual Electronic Theater). Kindly submit a written request to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. in English before 30 November 2021, 23:59 GMT+9. Upon approval, our team will advise on the refund or additional payment based on the earlier onsite ticket category and the new virtual ticket category. The new ticket category will be reflected on our registration portal once payment or refund has been made. A processing fee of USD 50/JPY 5,000 applies for all approved refunds.
• Cancellation Policy: Due to covid-19 and travel uncertainty, full cancellation is possible for attendees residing out of Japan. A processing fee of USD 50/JPY 5,000 will be charged upon approval of the cancellation request.
• Registration is non-transferrable.
